ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced various schemes like easy loans , laptops , education and training on modern lines.
In his second address to the nation , wearing traditional shalwar Qameez and vest , Nawaz Sharif said the government is going to materialize its planned program in the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz manifest.
He announced the micro loan program – interest is aimed at the most disadvantaged sectors of society and benefit quarter of a million people.
An allocation of Rs 3.5 million was made during the financial year.
The loan scheme for small businesses has been designed for unemployed youth , especially educated so they can start their own businesses .
Under the scheme loans ranging between 500,000 and 2,000,000 rupees youth advanced to the brand dealership at the rate of eight percent and the remaining power of the brand until borne by the government.
Fifty percent of the loans would be given to women and initially these loans will be developed by the National Bank of Pakistan, First Women Bank. Five million rupees have been allocated for the scheme.
The prime minister said the youth training scheme which education end sixteen years degree from recognized institutions will give practical training to help them secure job in the country or abroad .
For this training in the work of ten thousand rupees per month scholarship would be given for one year and fifty thousand graduates will benefit from the program.
Four billion rupees have been allocated for this system .
The Specialized Youth Development Plan is being launched for children who have passed eighth class .
You will be given six months training in different skills, along with the grant of five thousand rupees per month . The government has earmarked eight crore for the scheme .
Sharif also announced a plan to fund the enrollment of students from backward areas so that bright students are not deprived of their right to education due to financial constraints .
The government would pay to forty thousand rupees average annual rate for the account of each of the thirty thousand students of MA , M.Sc and education level.
This scheme has been launched at a cost of 1.2 million rupees.
The prime minister said that four billion rupees have been allocated for the scheme Prime Minister for the provision of laptops.
Under the scheme students hundred thousand laptops would be provided this year by the federal government .
He said that the federal cabinet has approved the basic structure of these plans and commitments have also been completed for execution. However invited suggestions from people to make these systems more transparent and merit based one hundred percent .
Details of these schemes would be available on the website www.pmo.gov.pk from Monday and people can give their comments on the website. Suggestions can also be sent in writing to the Prime Minister’s office.
